1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how the developer of Dailey handles information when you use the Dailey mobile app or visit these legal pages. For privacy questions, email heynoyize@gmail.com.
2. Data you enter in Dailey
Dailey stores the habits you create, schedules, reminders, check-ins, notes, and app settings in local storage on your device. This information is used to show your habits, calculate progress and insights, and run app features. We do not receive this habit content through an app account or developer-operated sync service.
If you choose to export a backup, the app creates a file and lets you choose where to save or share it. Files you export are handled by the destination you choose. Your device's backup features may also handle app data according to your device settings and the platform's policies.
If you choose to share progress, Dailey creates an image locally and opens your device's share sheet. The image can include the habit name, icon, color, streak, and activity grid shown in the preview. You can hide the habit name before sharing. The image and caption are sent only to the destination you choose; Dailey does not upload the image to Firebase Analytics or a developer-operated service. The destination's own privacy practices apply.
3. Dailey Plus purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. Dailey uses RevenueCat to retrieve offerings, verify purchases, restore access, and determine whether Plus features are available. RevenueCat and the applicable app store may process a purchase identifier, transaction and subscription status, and technical information needed to provide those services. We do not receive your full payment card details.
These services handle information under their own policies: RevenueCat, Apple, and Google.
4. Analytics and crash reports
In production builds, Dailey uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and Firebase Crashlytics to investigate crashes and improve reliability. These services may collect app opens, sessions, screen activity, purchase events, app installation identifiers, approximate location, the app version, device and operating system information, crash times, stack traces, and relevant app state. Sharing-action events can describe which sharing entry point was used, whether a milestone celebration was shown or dismissed, the milestone category and streak unit, image format, theme, name-visibility choice, native share handoff or reported result, and a categorical failure or prompt-suppression reason. They do not contain the habit name, habit identifier, icon or category, exact streak value, daily progress history, image, caption, recipient, or sharing destination. Analytics events may appear as breadcrumbs alongside a crash report. This information is sent to Google for these purposes.
We do not intentionally send the habit names, notes, check-ins, or backup files you enter to Analytics or Crashlytics. Dailey does not use Analytics to collect advertising identifiers, and both services' collection is disabled in debug builds. See Firebase privacy information and Google's Privacy Policy for more about Google's processing.
5. Reminders and widgets
If you enable reminders, Dailey uses your device's notification system to schedule and show them. Widgets use app data on your device to display habit information. You can change notification permissions in your device settings and edit or remove reminders in the app.
6. Messages you send us
If you tap “Send feedback,” your email app prepares a message to us. The draft includes the app version and basic device and operating system details to help us troubleshoot; you can edit or remove that information before sending. We receive only what you decide to email. We use it to respond and provide support, and your email provider handles the message under its own policies.
7. These legal pages
These pages are hosted on Firebase Hosting. Visiting them sends standard web request information, such as an IP address, browser details, and the requested page, to the hosting provider for delivery and security. Unlike the mobile app, these pages do not include analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or a contact form.
Firebase Hosting is provided by Google. See Firebase privacy information for details about its processing.
8. Your choices and deletion
- You can edit or delete habits and notes in the app.
- You can turn off reminders in Dailey or in your device settings.
- You can export your data where the app offers an export option.
- Uninstalling Dailey removes its locally stored app data from the device, subject to any device backups or exported files you keep separately. It does not automatically remove technical data already sent to Google.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the store where you purchased them.

9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The effective date at the top of this page will show when the current version took effect. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel where required.
